At New Direction Fertility Centers, we don't use one-size-fits-all protocols or treatment plans. We customize a specific plan for your goals, take each step together and uniquely adjust to your needs.
We are transparent with fees. If insurance covers 100%, there will be no hidden out-of-pocket fees, such as "facility fees" or "coordination fees," that are regularly seen at other clinics.

We didn't set out to make a futuristic lab; we aimed to bring the lab of the future now. It all starts with air quality. This is why we installed a revolutionary air filtration system, which removes pathogens and other contaminants from the air more effectively than any other system available.
The technology and performance of our LifeAire filtration system is radically different from all other air purification systems used to improve the laboratory and clinical environment.
High pregnancy rates
Learn More About Our LabIVF incubators are the most important piece of equipment in the laboratory. In order to grow embryos in the lab, conditions must be absolutely perfect. Each patient has their own incubator which allows minimal interruption.
Plus, we've invested in high tech incubators to reduce the amount of time embryos are exposed to disruptions in temperature and pH levels. It takes only three minutes to reestablish optimal conditions in our IVF incubators vs nearly two hours in other centers!

Answers to some frequently asked questions.
▸ Do you do custom treatment plans? That's all we do. Each patient will receive a unique treatment plan just for them. We understand the importance of individualized care and strive to make your journey as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
▸ Why are your pregnancy rates so high? The most difficult part of the IVF process is growing embryos in the IVF laboratory. Creating an optimal environment for embryos is extremely important for ensuring embryo viability and maintaining pregnancy rates higher than the national average.
Numerous factors, such as air quality, temperature, humidity, levels of essential gases and light, are known to affect eggs and embryos. IVF air quality is often overlooked when setting up an IVF laboratory.
New Direction Fertility Centers went to great lengths to ensure the highest possible air quality.
In addition, each patient has their own incubator (the most important piece of equipment) leading to the highest quality in embryo culturing and IVF success rates higher than the national average.
In order to grow embryos in the laboratory, conditions must be absolutely perfect!
▸ Do you accept my insurance?Upon coming in for your initial consult, our staff will verify what benefits your insurance provides. Each patient will have an assigned financial counselor to help assist you with any financial concerns or questions.
▸ How do I get started? To get started with an IVF cycle, you MUST message us on CYCLE DAY 1, even if it is the weekend. You will always begin birth control on day 3.
▸ What are the Phases of IVF cycle?Suppression Phase: This is when you are on birth control to suppress your follicles from growing. We do this to keep the follicles around the same size so they grow at the same rate during stimulation phase.
Stimulation Phase: This is the phase where you use injection medication to grow your follicles. This is the stimulation cycle-during this time you can expect to be in our office frequently for monitoring appointments (these appointments are set days according to your IVF calendar).
Retrieval: This is a surgical procedure to retrieve all the eggs (in the follicles) that have grown. For this procedure, you are under general anesthesia. You will breathe completely on your own the entire time. The procedure is very quick (20 minutes at the most). It feels like a super quick nap. During the time you are in procedure, your spouse will leave a sample (if applicable).
▸ What do I expect AFTER RETRIEVAL?You can expect cramping (2-5 days), bloating (up to 2 weeks) and some discomfort (2-5 days) following your procedure. Heat packs and Tylenol are best to use to help alleviate any pain.
The rest of the day following your retrieval, you will want to rest and take it easy. You are free to return to normal activities the following day, including work.
Remember to increase salt intake and drink beverages with electrolytes (instead of plain water) for the following 3-5 days. This is to prevent excessive swelling.
We can expect you to have a period about 10-14 days following retrieval. When this happens, you are ready to move forward with a transfer or another retrieval. You will message us on CYCLE DAY 1.
▸ What do I expect for TRANSFER?Our FET Coordinators will walk you through the transfer process when you are ready to move forward with one. You can expect to be on estrogen and progesterone medication (possibly birth control again). This is use to thicken the lining of your uterus to prepare for implantation. The soonest you can expect to transfer is 6-8 weeks after retrieval. Transfers also have preset dates each month similar to IVF cycles.
▸ How long will I be on birth control? The minimum amount of time you need to be on birth control is 21 days. You may need to be on birth control longer than 21 days if your cycle does not align with our stimulation start dates. Therefore, we will need to manipulate your cycle with the birth control. You could be on it for up to 5 weeks (with breaks). We only conduct one stimulation/retrieval cycle per month. There are particular start dates and cut-off dates. Your timeframe depends on when you start your period and how it aligns with our upcoming cycles.
▸ What is the IVF checklist? These are the items you will need to complete PRIOR to the start of your stimulation cycle. The checklist will be explained in detail when you message the team with your CYCLE DAY 1.
▸ When will I get my calendar? You will receive your calendar once your IVF deposit is made and Dr. Amols has a protocol for you. ▸ Can I still work during a cycle?Yes, you can still work during stimulation cycle. Please know the dates and times on your IVF calendar are tentative and may change based on the results of the previous appointments. (Flexibility is needed).
▸ Can I have sex during a cycle? Yes, you are able to have sex, up until the night you trigger. At New Direction, we honestly strive with one goal in mind: to help you get pregnant. Anyone who has met Dr. Amols knows that he truly practices medicine with his heart and that ripples out through his organization.

I was told by our last doctor that it was my fault for not getting pregnant because I was so stressed. When I met Dr. Amols, this was the first question I asked him, "Is it my fault I didn't get pregnant?" With a caring twinkle in his eye, he said that women get pregnant in war zones and this doctor had no right to make such an excuse. From day one, we've felt so supported and have been so impressed with the level of technology (that air quality and incubator tech, oh my!), customization of his protocols and his compassionate staff. He is a man on a mission to help people start families!
To everyone at New Direction, we are eternally grateful to you for facilitating the conception of our two miracle daughters."
